| End of lunation and no sight of the sky! Better luck for next session. The photo? Ah, it's a rotifer - on the end of a cabomba leaf in my fish tank - if you can't go macro go micro ;-) Wonder if there are any on Mars or Jupiter's moons ... |

| The brighter stars from Bootes and the Plough braved it through in the east around 2.30ut with Arcturus twinkling orange | Thin misty cloud over the south east cut out Saturn but the moon shone through after the rain earlier |

| 3 hand-held camera videos from the nearly full moon | Down from west to south (processed videos with Virtual Dub then Registax - details on Backyard Moon - part 1) | Viewing showed great detail in both Grimaldi and Bailly = videos not as clear ;-) |

| Low yet - but just managed to get the Tal on the 5 day moon at 16:45 UT | Libration hiding the far SE craters - may show more tomorrow. Cloud soon came over to fuzzy the view |
