| Low almost 21-day moon shone in the SE, with Arcturus above and Vega in the east before the clouds returned. Snow, never thick, now gone - ice around still. | Very yellow moon, Apennines clear and the Alps near Mont Blanc were very clear. Further south (image needs flipping!) Albategnius stood out as did the pair of Werner and Aliacensis below. (Bresser) |

| Not viewing tonight but usual sequence - moon rises; moon behind houses; moon behind chimney; moon in silver birches; moon clear; clouds appear! | Quick view from inside - via Bresser 20mm - shadows of trees still around - clouds thickening fast! |

| Found a brief gap later - craters from the SE through the Bresser from inside - 20mm + x2 Barlow | Then normal service resumed |

| Venus at 18:00, Mercury dimmer in the murk further down | Saturn around 8 pm (with 5 moons at least) was up early before the Moon appeared (C8) | Looked at Orion whilst the Moon dawdled in the trees - 20:48 | Moon dawdled so long the fog came back before it cleared the silver birches - 21.55 |

| Full Moon - terminator just encroaching on eastern limb. Couldn't get full shot from C8 but happily Chris Bailey was on hand with her Bresser Skylux | Seeing pretty appalling (whatever number that is) but snatched some interesting views of the edge with C8. Photos poor (even worse with damage to camera lens!!!!) Fog on its way ... |
