Again - Orion just asking for another photo! 15 secs on tripod Attempt at photo through C8 later - (a fuzzy still here, not got videos converted yet!)

Finally got the software sorted - and stacked a video from C8 (about 30 secs) from hand-held camera - then enlarged it.  Worth the effort!

An incredibly clear sky, a three-coloured moon turning slowly red, and a mass of surrounding stars!  Beyond my poor photographic capabilities but I hope you all managed to see it!        (Tal and Caplio)

Didn't look hopeful at sunset 12 day moon through the Tal Saturn later through C8 Saturn at 22:30UT getting closer to occultation by moon

Camera damaged - excuse the dark blobs Terminator was full of interesting areas  - good to get a decent length of viewing in despite the cold Used the C8 for examining the craters on the terminator

Just after 6pm - swift clouds and strong winds Actual clear bit of sky before 6  -  Mare Humorum stood out on terminator and Aristarchus was just appearing (Tal) Sun going down 6.15pm UT - plenty dark clouds heading my way!

Sinus Iridum appearing out of the night, ridges of lava showing on Mare Imbrium Superb sight of layers of lava on Mare Humorum - but you'll have to make do with this western area of Mare Nubium The 'flight' of Newton craters in the south looked great but not, alas on this photo!!
